MIDHILL was born in 2018 from the half-mountain village (半山) tradition of Foshan — where mortise-and-tenon joinery has been refined through generations of master craftsmen. Every piece carries the patience, precision, and respect for wood that defines our lineage.
Each piece begins with a hand-drawn sketch, ages through weeks of slow drying, and finishes in our atelier outside Foshan with natural oils and waxes — never stains, never shortcuts. The result is furniture that looks better at year ten than at year one.
